Short film: Bright Lights of Little Paris
Bright Lights of Little Paris is a short film directed by Robert Eugen, in which drama and tension intertwine with moments of pure emotion. The story follows a prisoner on the verge of release who makes a business deal to help his mysterious cellmate.
In this production, Alexia Tataru brings to the screen an emotionally powerful supporting role - a prematurely matured daughter, forced to become the pillar of the family after her father ends up in prison. Through her performance, Alexia conveys a complex range of emotions - from vulnerability and sadness to courage and determination - and manages to add depth to the story.
The filming took place both in a real prison and in a villa in the suburbs of Bucharest, which lent authenticity to each scene. Alexia starred alongside some of the biggest names in Romanian cinema, such as Maia Morgenstern and Paul Octavian Diaconescu, proving that her talent and her presence on set make her suitable for major film projects.
A memorable performance, which leaves a strong emotion behind and confirms the potential of an actress at the beginning of her career but with a promising future in film.
